Our Ambassador Team picks the Business of the Month for the Ocean Shores/North Beach Chamber of Commerce. We then notify them at the end of the month prior to the award. The Business of the Month is awarded to a business that is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and has been in business at least two years. They are awarded a Sign that they can display in their business for the “award month,” in an Ambassador presentation on the first Tuesday of each Month. We also take pictures at the presentation. Additionally, they are given a certificate that they can permanently display. We produce a story about them that goes to our newsletter and our website. The Ambassador team will also award a Business of the Year which will also be displayed on our Website.

Ocean Shores Animal Hospital
On Tuesday, February 7th the Ocean Shores/North Beach Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Team awarded the Ocean Shores Animal Hospital with their February 2012 Business of the Month Award. They are proudly displaying the large poster that declares they are an award winner!
The Ocean Shores Animal Hospital has been a member of the Chamber since 2007. Dr. Stacy Steele and her able crew are located at 800 Ocean Shores Blvd NW and can be reached at 360 289-2030. Their website http://oceanshoresvet.com/ shows all the crew and outlines the variety of services they provide and even profiles some of their pets. Their recent open house showed participants all the different technology and care stations available to the small animal patients they see on a daily basis.
Stacy and her staff are a big part of the Ocean Shores/North Beach community in a wide variety of ways, from supporting Emeritus at Harbour Pointe Shores to a wide variety of other groups including; Red Cross, North Beach PAWS, Spider Rocks, Old Dog Haven, Stage West Community Theatre, the City of Ocean Shores Animal Control, the Ocean Shores Library and World Vets. They are also part of the Eagles club and support the Ocean Shores Pirates.
You can see Stacy and some of her staff members on stage with the Stage West Community Theatre in nearly every production. Stacy recently made a presentation at Kiwanis about their most recent World Vets trip to Peru complete with great pictures from several cities and their tour of Machu Picchu!
The Ocean Shores Library will feature the Ocean Shores Animal Hospital as their Business of the Month in March with a table display and a one hour adult program on a feature of pet care. Contact Keitha Owen at (360) 289-3919 for more information.
